Quick Homemade Quiche {Recipe}

Quiche has always been a favorite dish of mine. Breakfast or Brunch? Crust or Crust-less? Veggie or Ham? The options are nearly infinite! I favor the classic ham and cheese quiche. Sharp cheddar mixed with tender ham bites*drool* Oh, I am also going to share with you a Martha Stewart Basic Crust Recipe variation that takes 10 minutes to make! Fast, easy, and delicious. Let's Go!

Flaky Crust without the food processor{No way! Yes way:}
*Double the recipe for a pie
Flaky Crust Ingredients
1 cup flour
1 stick of unsalted butter {room temperature}
1/4 cup very cold water
1/4 tsp Salt
Spoonful of Sugar
1/4 tsp paprika

Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees. Take a large bowl and add your flour, sugar, pinch of salt, and paprika. Give a Stir. Then add your room temperature stick of butter. Grab two butter knives and cut the butter into the flour until you have a bowl full of small butter crumbs{your cheap food processor}. Add 1/4 cup of cold water to your mixture. Mix with your finger tips until you get a formed ball. The dough should not be sticky, just wet enough that all the ingredients come together. You can put your dough in the freezer for 20 minutes or press it out right away. I use a little flour on my fingers so the dough does not stick to me when making my crust. TIP: I bake the crust alone for 15 minutes before adding my quiche mixture to ensure a firmer crust:)

My quiche recipe is from the Joy of Cooking Cookbook and is not available to the public. Do you have a favorite quiche recipe? If not, I recommend to find one that tickles your fancy:)
